Age 80, formerly of Marine on St. Croix. Teacher, businessman, lover of rivers, graduate of Red Wing High School and the University of Minnesota. He was born on August 18, 1937 and died peacefully on June 9, 2018. Preceded in death by parents, Arnold Vogel and Marjorie Gray Vogel; and uncle, Richard Gray. Greatly beloved by wife, Patricia; son, Gregory (Susan) Vogel; grandchildren, Whitney and Alexander (Sarah) Vogel; and siblings, Mary (Henry) Fischer, George (Barbara), and John (Peggy) Vogel. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorials preferred to TPT (public television), 172 - 4th Street East, Saint Paul, MN 55101.
