Former co-owner with her husband, Alfred, of the John Adam and Son Colonial Funeral Home on Rice and Magnolia. Preceded in death by husband, Alfred; son, John; parents, Aloysius and Pauline Barthel; brothers, Arnold, Herbert and Albert; sister, Clara Kotilinek. Survived by children, Stella Marie (Bernard) Bearth, Marybeth (James) Nutzman, Paul J. (Jean) Adam; 15 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; sisters Bernice Barthel, Eleanor Barthel, Martha (LeRoy) Pribyl, Irma Barthel, Margaret Mary Arco and Rita Barthel and by many other relatives and friends.



Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, 10AM at the CHURCH OF THE MATERNITY OF MARY, 1414 North Dale Street. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday, 2-9PM at BRADSHAW, 1078 Rice at Magnolia, and 8:30AM to 9:30AM Wednesday at the funeral home.
