Stella Altnow

Passed away on July 7, 2017. Preceded in death by husband, Al Altnow; siblings, Larry Voehl, Harry Voehl and Gladys Loveall; and her parents, Albert and Lydia Voehl. Survived by 4 nephews and 2 nieces. She was born on August 31, 1923 in Lakefield. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Pauls Lutheran church in Lakefield. After graduating from Lakefield High School, she took a business course at Worthington Community College and was then employed by First National Bank, St. Anthony Falls Office, in Minneapolis. She then moved to Worthington and worked at the hospital and Farmers Home Administration. On November 15, 1958 she married Al Altnow and lived in St. Paul for a short while before moving to St. Louis. In 1985 she and her husband retired and built a home on Lake Rachel near Holmes City, MN.
