Steve Van Hale

Age 63, of Stillwater.

Santa Extraordinaire & Retired from Ramsey County Corrections.

He peacefully lost his 3-month battle with metastatic pancreatic cancer on October 3, 2021, with his wife & sister-in-law at his side. He is survived by the love of his life, Penny Fastner Van Hale, many family members & many, many friends. Predeceased by parents, Matt & Catherine & brothers, Tom & Adrian.

Special thanks to Dr Walid Mikhail & Laura Schuller CNP for their constant support through his cancer battle, along with the hospital staff on 5a, 6th & 7th floors of MHealth Fairview University who made sure Steve was always well taken care of. Being Santa was an important part of who Steve was. In celebration of his life, please feel free to wear red, green or Christmas themed clothing.

Visitation will be Friday, October 29th from 5 - 8pm. Memorial service will be Saturday, October 30th at 11am, with visitation from 10am - 11am at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd, Stillwater.

Memorials to Second Stork. Due to the rise in Covid-19, there will not be a luncheon after the service.  We request all visitors wear a mask, whether you are vaccinated or not.
