Age 65, of White Bear Lake, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on December 19, 2023.

Sue was a celebrated public works director and city engineer in Minnesota, Texas, and Arizona. She enjoyed reading, spending time with her dogs, and giving back to the community. Sue will be remembered for her refreshing candor, dedication to mentoring aspiring engineers, and cheerful humor and wit.

Preceded in death by parents James and Lillian; aunts Millie, Holly, and Helen; uncles Chuck and Tony; and cousins Carol and Bobby.

She is survived by her loving husband Ken Chlebanowski; children Erin and PJ (Molly) McDermott; grandchildren Frances, Charlotte, and Teddy; siblings Laurie and Jim; dogs Chloe and Alley; along with many other relatives and friends.

Sue will be fondly remembered and sorely missed.

Celebration of Life 2-5PM, on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at BRADSHAW (2800 Curve Crest Blvd. Stillwater). Time of Sharing at 3PM.
