Tami (Tamra Kaehler) Mulligan

Age 68 of South Minneapolis, passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully in her sleep, on September 12, 2020.

She was preceded in death by her parents Gladwyn A, Kaehler and Norene (Giese) Kaehler of rural Morris, Minnesota.

For over 30 years Tami was a Cosmetologist. She worked at Touch of Beauty on Lake Street, and later Fairview Hospital Salon. She then worked as a paraprofessional and Lunch lady at Minnesota Transitions Charter school before retiring in 2015.

Tami was funny and generous. She loved a great bargain at a thrift store or a unique find in her dumpster diving quests. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and reading, too. But her pride and joy was her two daughters, Amber and Heather.

She is survived by her husband of 22 years James(Jim) Mulligan, daughter Heather (Kaehler) and Tim Cassidy of New York Mills, MN, daughter Amber Mulligan (and Nick) of Eagan, MN, and her seven remaining siblings:

Wayne (Nancy) Kaehler, Janell Dahle, Allan( LuAnn) Kaehler, Kevin Kaehler (and Sue), Beth (Gene) VanDenEinde, John Kaehler and Mark Kaehler, plus many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was “Grandma Tami” to Edan Cassidy and Nolan Cassidy.

Her creative and fun personality will be sorely missed.

A Private Celebration of Life gathering will be held October 10, 2020 1 to 4 pm for close immediate family at Wayne Kaehler’s home.
