Tara Lynn Fox Smith
Age 50 of Woodbury passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and beloved dogs after
a long battle with ovarian cancer on Thursday, December 8.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents.

Tara will be sadly missed by the love of her life, her husband Dave; her children Garrett,
Madelyn, Abby; her parents Court and Pearl Fox; her sister Dina(Brian) Livingston; her nieces,
nephews, and friends; and her beloved puppies Brutus, Buttercup, and Piper.

The first word that comes to mind when thinking of Tara is beautiful with a side of sass. Out of a
room full of people, Tara is the smart choice when it comes to someone having your back. She
was fiercely loyal, hardworking, and leapt at the opportunity to defend those she loved. A foster
parent for rescued dogs, she had an unrelenting thoughtfulness that extended past her friends
and family into each furry face she saw. The world will notice the absence of this strong, vibrant,
and caring woman but parts of her can still be found in the things she loved. She is seen in the
old movies she enjoyed, heard in the theater pieces she sang along to, glimpsed in her fragrant
flower garden, felt in the sunshine by the pool, sighted in all the places she traveled, and noticed
in every page of her well-loved romance books. She had strength sown into every stitch of her
being and she fought to the very end with the consistent love that her sole caregiver, her
husband, provided.

Memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 17 at 1 p.m. at Bradshaw Celebration of Life Center
2800 Curve Crest Blvd., Stillwater, with a visitation an hour prior.
