Thomas Leek

Thomas R. Leek, 68, of Lakeville, died Monday, October 29, 2018, at the Minneapolis VA Health Care System Hospital. Born on December 11, 1949 in St. Paul, he was the son of the late Richard and Elizabeth (Fitzgerald) Leek.

Tom served his country during the Vietnam War in the United States Navy. He had a passion for cooking and worked many years doing what he loved. Tom enjoyed being social and has touched the lives of many throughout his journey.

Survivors include his twin sister, Sandra Goebel; niece, Nicole Geisen (Scott); nephews Timothy Goebel (Jennifer), Michael Steenberg (Angela) and Mark Steenberg (Ann Marie); long-time friend, James Shimek (Suzanne); great nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Joann Steenberg and brother-in-law Gerald Steenberg.

Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. on November 26, 2018, at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Meet at Assembly Area 4 at 10:15 a.m.
