Thomas Mcclanahan

Tom was born and grew up in White Bear Lake, Minnesota. Tom graduated from White Bear High School in 1941, received a BA from Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois and a BBA from the University of Minnesota. He met his wife, Ginny, through his sister, Rachel, who was a roommate with Ginny at Carleton College.

Tom served as Lieutenant Junior Guard in the U.S. Navy and spent several years in the Pacific during World War II. He then worked at the 1st Trust Company of St. Paul for 37 years.

Tom led a devoted life to his wife and children. He loved the outdoors, including hunting, fishing, Boundary Water canoe trips and downhill skiing.
