Passed away peacefully on January 28, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. Preceded in death by wife, Leona and special friend, Bev Nemo. Survived by children, Diane (Mark) Nelson, Christine (Richard) Foline, Mary Jo (Jim) Rehberger, Rita (Mark) Sager, Theresa Knutson, Tom (Dawn), and Jolene (Shawn) Honkomp; 19 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren and many loving relatives and friends. Retired from 3M. WWII Army Veteran. He loved spending time up north at his son's resort and had a passion for golf. He was known to friends and family as the "candy man" since he always greeted everyone with a smile and candy. He will be missed by all. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, February 4th at 10:00AM at CERENITY MARIAN CENTER CHAPEL, 200 East Earl Street. Visitation beginning at 9:00AM. Interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred to Marian Center Senior Care or HealthPartners Hospice.
