Dolquist, Timothy Michael was born on June 1, 1951 at Swedish Hospital in Mpls to Mary Ann Dolquist. Tim was the 2nd of 9 children of Mary Ann and Bill. He attended South High School in Mpls.
Tim was 17 when he entered the United States Marine Corp in 1969. He was honorably discharged after serving in Viet Nam. He did lots of volunteer work for the Disabled American Veterans. He was a life member of the 5th Marine Division of the USMC and also the 3rd Marine Division of the USMC. When Tim returned home from Viet Nam he didn't receive a hero's welcome nor did he receive any medals of honor, but he will always be a hero in the hearts of those who survived him. He will be truly missed.
On October 7, 2004 he joined his parents in heaven unexpectedly at the age of 53. He is preceded in death by Mary Ann Terwey ? March 11, 1990 and Wilbert F. Terwey ? June 11, 1993.
Survived by wife, Mary Dolquist; daughter, Jessica Dolquist; son, Daniel Dolquist; brother, Thomas Terwey (Jennifer); sisters, Linda Peterson (Timothy), Barbara Terwey (Mary), Jeanne Williams (Michael), Carol Terwey (Mark), Tammy Haskins (Scott), Lori Starr (Joseph), and Nanci Waade (Robert); nieces & nephews, William Terwey (Cassy), Michael Williams (Sarah), David Williams (Kimberly), Jennifer Williams, Randulph Terwey (Rachel), Andrew Terwey, Amber Williams, Christopher Williams, Timothy Peterson (Kim), Maria Peterson (Tom), Sherry Terwey (Tony), April Terwey (Christopher), Ashley Terwey, Mark Melius, Thomas Terwey, Amanda Terwey, Alexander Terwey, Brandon Terwey, Miranda Waade, and Ozzy Waade; many great nieces and nephews.
Service 12 Noon Wednesday at BRADSHAW (McDivitt-Hauge), 3131 Minnehaha Ave S. Interment with honors at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation one hour prior to service. Memorials preferred to the family.
