Stillwater, Minnesota

Timothy John Linquist passed away on May 21, 2024, at the VA hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He was born on July 31, 1963, in Stillwater, Minnesota.

Tim was a proud Marine who served his country with honor before returning home to take over the family business founded by his father. A graduate of Stillwater High School, he carried with him a deep sense of appreciation for hard work and craftsmanship. His commitment to quality was evident not only in his professional life but also in his hobbies as a talented woodworker and artist.

Known for his delightful sense of humor and practical nature, Tim approached life with a frugality that belied his generous spirit. He was filled with gratitude for the simple pleasures of everyday living and found joy in creating beauty through his woodworking projects.

Among his proudest accomplishments were his children, Sam Linquist and Hunter Linquist, whom he cherished above all else. Tim's love and dedication to his family extended to his many friends and surviving relatives: sister Lori Linquist, niece Breanna (Dan) Weisbrod, and their daughters Lucia and Georgia.

Tim is predeceased by his loving parents, David and Mabel Linquist, his brothers David Jr. and William, and his nephew Daniel.

In the face of adversity brought on by a recent diagnosis of pancreatic cancer, Tim faced each day with courage and grace. His legacy of hard work, humility, and love for family will continue to inspire all who knew him.

May Timothy John Linquist rest in peace knowing that he leaves behind a lasting impact on those fortunate enough to have been part of his life's journey. Memorials preferred to the The Gary Sinise Foundation.
