Timothy Moore, Sr.

Timothy K. Moore, Sr.  peacefully “dropped his body” (as he liked to say) on the evening of June 7, 2022. He was 69. It had been a long and winding road since August of 2021, when Tim was diagnosed as having had several small strokes which led to dementia and required him to live at Ebenezer Care Center. His entire focus had been to move on from there,  and his family is so happy for him that he was finally able to rejoin his parents, siblings, friends and teachers that he longed see again – and that the vision he’d lost to narrow angle glaucoma has been restored so he can look back and truly see all the interesting parts of his life, and how much he was loved.

A Celebration of Life, will be held on Friday, July 8 from 1 to 4 pm (ceremony at 2) at Wabun Park Shelter C,  4655 46th Ave S., near Tim's beloved Minnehaha Falls. Light refreshments.  Hawaiian shirts welcome!

He is survived by his children Sarah Jane Moore (Mark Park), Tim Jr. (Emily) and Alice Slaikeu (Andrew) and beloved grandchildren Eamon, Kieran, Phoebe, Calvin and Isabelle; life partner of 27 years, Erin Sim; sisters Debra Stalsitz (Lou) and Laurie Turner (John) and extended family members.
