Died on February 10, 2021, age 88, peacefully at home. Preceded in death by the father of her children, Norman Allard; second husband, John Schorn; and brothers, William and Thomas Bieter. Survived by children, Barbara (Mike) Rath, Christopher Allard, Mary (Rick) Constantine, William (Susan) Allard and Margaret (Dane) Price; 7 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and sister, Mary Ann Coffland. Ursula graduated from the College of St. Catherine with a degree in Library Science. She moved to Fairfield, CT and worked at Fairfield University as a librarian where she met and married her husband, Norman. They returned to St. Paul, MN where they raised 5 children. She later worked as a librarian at the College of St. Thomas and then William Mitchell College of Law. Returning to school in her fifties, she earned her RN and worked in Roswell, NM as a nurse. She again returned to St. Paul where she continued to work as an RN and married her second husband, John Schorn. She retired from nursing at Little Sisters of the Poor. After retiring, she and John enjoyed traveling. Ursula was a lover of dogs, classical music, birds, books, and gardening, and she made the best mincemeat pie. She lived life to the fullest until the day that she died. She will always be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, February 25, 10:00 A.M. at CATHEDRAL OF SAINT PAUL, 239 Selby Avenue. Burial at Resurrection Cemetery.
