Vincent H. Laqua worked 2 years in the Civilian Conservation Corps and also served in the Navy Seabees in WWII in the South Pacific. He worked 32 years for Mpls. Public Schools before retiring to the lake home he built in Nevis, MN. He is preceded in death by his wife, Anne. Survived by children Mary Ann Keating of Missouri and Michael Laqua of Cambridge; grandson, David Keating of Missouri; sister, Isabel Topness and sister-in-law, Sally Opalinski. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, 10:30 am at Church of St. Albert the Great, E 29th St & 32nd Ave S, Minneapolis, MN. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Visitatin one hour prior to Mass at the church. Memorials preferred to the Sinsinawa Dominicans, Sinsinawa, WI 53824.
