Vincent Seger

Seger, Vincent Robert "Bob"
Born February 8, 1925 in Winona, MN and died on September 13, 2017 at Ramsey Care Center in Maplewood. Bob was born to Ross and Estella (McGrath) Seger.
He was raised in Plain View, MN and worked at the Dairy and Municipal Liquor Bar. In 1951, he moved to St. Paul and worked for Motor Cargo Trucking which later became Consolidated Freight Ways (34 years). On November 17, 1951 he married Rita Thompson and they had two children. Bob loved his lake home at Pine Grove Resort in Luck, Wisconsin and the winter home in Florida. Preceded in death by mother Estella Norton, father Ross Seger and brothers William and John Norton. Survived by wife of 65 years, Rita; daughter, Nancy (John) Kloes; son, Randall (Gina) Seger; grandchildren, Nathan (Jennifer) Seger and Angela (James) Richards; great grandchildren, Tristen and Claire Richards; and sister, Marie (Harry) Carter. Many thanks to the wonderful hospice team for all their great care and to the team of nurses at Maplewood Care Center for all their caring ways. Service Monday, September 18th at 11AM at CHRIST THE SERVANT LUTHERAN CHURCH, 3676 Centerville Road, Vadnais Heights. Visitation 1 hour prior to the service at church. Interment Sunset Memorial Park. Memorials preferred to HealthEast Hospice.
