Vincent A. Turnblad
Age 86, of Stillwater, passed away peacefully on Oct. 20, 2017. Preceded in death by his son, Kevin; infant grand-daughter, Grace; parents, Esther and Oscar; sister, Mildred. Survived by wife of 61 loving years, Gretchen; daughter, Karen (Bill), daughter-in-law Nancy; grandchildren, Kristen, Andrew, Rachel and Carl; and many nieces, nephew, and other family and friends. He grew up on a small farm in Scandia, served in the Army, and then moved to Stillwater to work for a barge line, while continuing to be a gentleman farmer as well as a volunteer firefighter. He was a traveler, volunteer and supporter at GammelgA�rden Museum that stemmed from his strong Swedish heritage. Funeral Service, 11AM, Tuesday at TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH, 115 4th St. N., Stillwater. Visitation one hour prior at Church. Memorials preferred to Lakeview Hospice, GammelgA�rden Museum, and Trinity Lutheran Church.
