Died Sunday, July 20, 2003 after a long struggle with cancer. Virgil was born September 11, 1930 in Milltown, WI.
He is preceded in death by parents, Martin and Bertha Giller; brother Eugene and sister, Mildred. In 1987, Virgil and Doris retired to Siren, WI and enjoyed several years at their lake home on Claim Lake along with friends and family. In 1999 when Virgil was diagnosed with bone cancer, he and Doris returned to their roots in St. Paul.
Virgil is survived by his beloved wife, Doris, of St. Paul, sons, Allen (Deb) Giller, Albertville, MN; Wayne (Candy) Giller North Branch, MN; James ( Vicki) Giller, Wyoming, MN; Thomas (Deanna) Giller, White Bear Lake, MN; daughters, Wendy (Joe) Guzman, St. Paul; Sandy (Randy) Helamoe, St. Paul; Colleen (Kevin) Foote, St. Paul, MN; Jeannie (Bobby) Howard, St. Paul, MN; Julie (Juan, Jr.) Lopez, St. Paul, MN; Terry (John) Kaiser, Minnetrista, MN;
step-daughter, Linda (Jack) Allsen, St. Paul; Virgil is also survived by 35 grandchildren and
8 great-grandchildren; brothers, Howard Giller and Merlin Giller; and nieces and nephews.
Gathering of family and friends Wednesday 4-8 PM at BRADSHAW,1078 Rice Street at Magnolia with a time of sharing at 7 PM. Memorial Service Thursday, 2:00 PM at Bone Lake Cemetery, Luck, WI. In loving memory of our Husband, Father and Grandfather.
