Virgil Gustafson

Age 91, of So. Mpls. Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on December 31, 2009. Preceded in death by wife, Valara. Survived by sons, Clifford (Linda), Paul (Linda), Keith and John; daughters, Ruth (John), Arla (Rick) and Vernice (Jake); grandchildren, Abby, Jeremy and Diane; great-grandchildren, Riley, Ryder and Ellicia; sister, Helen Schmidt. Virgil served in the Army with the 8 ^th Field Artillery Observation Battalion and was a survivor of the Battle of the Bulge. He was a retired Postal Employee and enjoyed fishing, playing cribbage and pool. Service Wednesday, 11:00 A.M. at BRADSHAW (McDivitt-Hauge), 3131 Minnehaha Avenue South. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation one hour prior to the service.
