Virginia’s mission in life was to make people laugh, and she was good at it! She had a sharp wit and dry sense of humor. Even into her final days she enjoyed entertaining others, performing recently in a cabaret in her assisted living facility. Virginia was a lifelong public school teacher. While she began her career as an English teacher, her true passion was being the school librarian in Dilworth, Minnesota. She loved summers at the cabin and was an avid knitter – hats, scarves, sweaters and ornaments all became gifts she created. She was a brave participant in the war effort, venturing to Los Angeles to become a solderer during World War II. Memorial service for Virginia will be held 2:00 Friday, November 26 at BRADSHAW, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd, Stillwater, with visitation one hour prior. Memorials preferred to Emma Norton Services and World Vision.
