Friend and Proud WWII Army Veteran.
Survived by son & daughter-in-law Bill & Joey Rhodes, Granddaughters Kim (Greg) Bernard & Stacie (Chaz) Running also Great-Grandchildren Taylor (Brooke), Morgan & Logan Teske & Levi and Briella Running. Preceded in death by wives Joan (1997) & Dolores (2015). Wally was a 44-year employee of 3M who enjoyed the 3M club and golfing at Tartan Park. He was a humble & conservative man who put the needs of others before his own. He was strong in his faith and unconditionally devoted to his wives. Wally will be missed dearly by all who knew him but is now golfing on the beautiful greens in heaven. Graveside service, Friday, October 6, 2017, 12:30 P.M. at FORT SNELLING NATIONAL CEMETERY, 7601 - 34th Avenue South, Minneapolis, Assembly Area 5 (Please arrive 10-15 minutes early).
