Beloved father and grandfather. Cretin High School class of 1953, University of Minnesota Bachelor of Arts 1968, and a proud US Marine. Resident of Johanna Shores, Arden Hills, MN.

Preceded in death by his wife, Carol Ann (Christensen); his parents, Walter William Ritter Sr. and Elizabeth Julia (Vosika); and his sister, Mary Jane Juba.

Survived by his children, Anne Ritter, Michael W. Ritter (Mye), John T. Ritter (Cheryl), and Amy Ritter-Mark (Russell Mark); grandchildren, Nathaniel, Christian, Mitchell, Chloey, Ha'ani, Palmer, Ale'hana, Michael J, David, Elizabeth, and Annalise; great-grandchildren, Killian, Phoenix, Layla, and Caroline; and many friends, including the Johanna Shores community.

Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, April 4th 11:00AM at CATHEDRAL OF SAINT PAUL (239 Selby Ave.) with visitation 1 hour prior.

Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
