Age 92. Preceded in death by parents, William and Lydia (Barchenger) Cook; brothers, William "Bill", Gerald "Jerry"; sisters, Betty Blevins (Leo); Carol Wallace (Jim); granddaughter, Alicia; great-granddaughter, Gracie.
Survived by his loving family: a beloved husband of 72 years to Angela (Garski), and a beloved father: sons, Stephen (Cathy), David (Marilyn), Christopher (Karen F), Curtis (Susan); daughters: Katherine (Allen Lange), Karen A., Carla Engst (John); 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren (+2 on the way), and many nieces and nephews.
Warren served in the Korean War in a Combat Engineer unit, and for 42 years on the St. Paul Fire Department, retiring as a District Chief. He enjoyed; golf, winters in Florida, their dear friends, traveling, fishing, family get-togethers, tinkering, making nicknacks, painting, and admiring his kids, grand kids and great grands.

A funeral service will be held at Bradshaw Funeral (4600 Greenhaven Drive in White Bear) on Wednesday May 31st. Visitation at 10am, with a Celebration of Life at 12:00pm. Lunch will be served after, followed by a graveside service at Lakeview Cemetery in Mahtomedi.
