Was called home to his heavenly Father on June 1, 2012. Preceded in death by brothers, Alfred and Marvin; sisters, Alberta Looney and Marlene. Survived by his wife, Charlotte, of 68 years; children, Janet (Bryan) Jarvinen, Jim (Linda) and Mary; grandchildren, Julie, Paula and Lori Jarvinen, Faith (Jon) Haag, Jacob (Wendy), Beth (Jun Hyoung "Sam") Bae; six great-grandchildren; brothers, Ernest and Robert; sisters, Ruth Pickhartz and Bernice Heuer; many other relatives and friends. He enjoyed gardening, camping and was the founder/owner of Sun Excavating. The family will greet friends from 9:30 until the time of the service, at 11:00 on Tuesday, June 5th, 2012 at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 4600 Greenhaven Drive at Highway 96 (one mile west of 35E), White Bear. Interment at Roselawn Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff at New Harmony Care Center for their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the New Harmony Care Center, St. Paul for the New Van Fund or First Evangelical Free Church, Maplewood.
