West Houle "Sr."
Born September 14th, 1956, received his golden wings on May 19th, 2010 at 2:42pm.
Passed away in the arms of his loving wife, surrounded by his family and dearest friends.
West was the owner of Metropolitan Gravel in Newport, MN. He built the company along-
side his family, and considers one of the greatest assets of the company to be his employees.
West's life passions were his family, friends, dogs, hunting, and fishing. He had a zest for life
that we all only could wish to have. West always made sure people knew how much
they meant to him, from the sparkle in his eyes to the chuckle in his laughter. Preceded in
death by, brother and hunting buddy, Steven Houle, father Everett "Red" Houle, beloved
mother Sally, brother in laws Billy Mordick and Steve Hendrickson, and LC Mae his hunting
dog. Survived by the love of his life of 34 years, Laurie; sons Jim (Jennifer) Kinkade, West "Jr" (Erica), daughters, Jennifer (Shawn) Hohneke, and Katie. His precious grandchildren, that West's world continually revolved around, Trystin, Dylan, Christian, Sierra, Tanner, Shelby and Ryan.Sister Lynne Houle-Cherveny. Father and mother in law William and Roberta Mordick, in laws, LuAnn, Brad (Debbie), Bruce (Kim), Brian (Lori), Becky, Julie, Brenda (Dave) and his dogs Max, Simba, and his mothers dog Christopher Robin. Best friends Louis "Butch" & Carolyn Knauff, Mike and Lori Carlson and their daughter's Breana and Bailey, and Richard Byrd "/Is this Richard Byrd/?" "Second parents" Jack & Willetta Breault. Honorary children Shawn Houle, Marlene Dyer, Stephanie Boden, and SGT Michel Montalvo. Special friends Judy Anderson, Duane Raymond and Joshua "JJ" Bunn and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. West paved his way to heaven through his kindness and generosity to others and because of that kindness he is paving the way for his family and friends. A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday May 23rd from 1pm to 3pm. Services at 3pm with a celebration to follow. 11792 Valley Creek R. Woodbury, MN 55125.
