Age 84. Went to be with the Lord on April 27, 2004. Preceded in death by parents, Jacob and Clare; sisters, Florence and Margaret. Survived by wife, Rita; daughters, Betsy (Chuck) Hickok, JoAnne (Bob) Wehling, Gail (Paul) Schulz, Kay Knutson, Monie (George) Konecny; sons, Gary (Carolyn), David (Karen) and Dick Schlaefer; 18 grandchildren and 3 great-grandsons. Wil was actively involved in his church , community and with his family his whole life. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday 10AM at ASSUMPTION CATHOLIC CHURCH, 51 West 7th Street. Visitation Friday 4-8PM at BRADSHAW, 678 Snelling Ave. South at Eleanor and 1 hour prior to service at church. Memorials preferred to Assumption Church, Arch Bishop Roach Scholarship Fund or Cretin Durham Hall. Private Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery
