William David Blackley passed away on October 12th, 2013. He is survived by loving wife of 60 years Sandra Blackley (Prange) ; children David (Gayla) of Colorado Springs, CO, Paul (Jennifer) of Plymouth, MN; grandchildren, Rachel (Knight) of Walla Walla, WA, Ben of Salt Lake City, UT, Lisa of Colorado Springs, Kelly of Coon Rapids, Kevin, Katie, Kyle and Kenny all of Plymouth, many other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, Hamilton Blackley and Enid (Williams) of Lake Crystal, MN. Bill was born in Lake Crystal, MN on June 28, 1931. He attended Lake Crystal High School and graduated from Mankato State and University of Minnesota where he earned his Doctorate Degree in Organic Chemistry. Bill worked at Texaco in New York and later retired from 3M after 27 years of service. Bill loved to hunt and fish and enjoyed spending time outdoors. He will be missed by all that knew him. Visitation will be held from 2:00-3:00pm followed by a service at 3:00 pm on Saturday, October 19th at Bradshaw Celebration of Life Center, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd, Stillwater, MN 55082.
