Married Florence Ziebart on November 28, 1936. Preceded in death by wife, Florence; son, James. He will be sadly missed by son, David; grandchildren, Missy Ekern, Mike (Becky) Ekern; daughters-in-law, Judy Ekern, January Ekern (Dave Robinson). Member of Famous Civil Engineering Class of 1931, University of Minnesota. Service Thursday, 11:00 A.M. at IMMANUEL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 104 South Snelling Avenue. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation one hour prior to the service at church. Memorials are preferred to Immanuel Lutheran Church or donor?s choice.
