Age 89, Lifelong resident of Bayport

A celebration of Bill's life will be Wednesday, 11:00 A.M. at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard (NW corner of Hwy 36 & Co Rd 5), Stillwater. Interment Hazelwood Cemetery. Visitation one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Bayport Senior Center.

Bill was born March 16, 1924 in Bayport, Minnesota to William and Grace Huhnke and died May 30, 2013 at Comforts of Home in Hudson, Wisconsin. He was a WWII Army Veteran of the European Campaign including Normandy Beach, and a member of the Bayport American Legion. As an avid sportsman, he was a volunteer at Minnesota DNR and was an Endowment Member of the National Rifle Association. Bill was an exceptional Carpenter and Woodworker and also enjoyed gardening.

He was preceded in death by parents, Bill and Grace; sister, Dorothy Faulkner (Bob); nephews, Michael and Peter Shattuck. He is survived by wife, Cynthia; children, Wayne (Michelle) and Dorothy Bialke; grandchildren, Sierra and Quinn Huhnke, Anna and Ben Bialke; sister, Beverly Anderson (Donald); nieces and nephews, Barb Wolf, Sandy Pettee and Bill Shattuck; other relatives and friends.
