Bill was welcomed home to be with his Lord and Savior on October 28 at the age of 74.
Loved by his wife Elaine, children Jean Buller (Mike), Jeff (Kathy), Tom and Mike (Anna), his extended family Elizabeth Tessier (Tom), Christopher Campbell (Melissa) and Jennifer Campbell (Tom) and grandchildren Jon (Marlena), Megan, Anna, Benjamin, William, Thomas, Natalie, Caitlin, Patrick, Sarah, Sawyer, Cory, Reece, Hayes, Madison, Tasia, Tori, Maggie, Thomas and Grace, great-granddaughter Madalyn, sisters Jean Burress (Jim) and Sandra Cross (Dick). Preceded in death by grandson Dennis. He has been reunited into the arms of his parents Irene B. and William F. Murray Sr.
Bill was very proud to have been a life long teacher, coach and mentor within the White Bear Lake area and beyond. He was an athlete and outdoorsman his entire life, he has many major accomplishments and most recently he was inducted into the University of Minnesota Gymnastics Hall of Fame. His true passion has been his family and fishing. Many loved him and he loved us all.
Service Friday 11:00 a.m. at Memorial Lutheran Church of Afton at 15730 Afton Blvd., Afton. Gathering Thursday 4:00 ? 8:00 p.m. at Bradshaw Celebration of Life Center 2800 Curve Crest Blvd (NW Corner of Highway 36 and Country Road 5) and also 1 hour prior to the service at the church.
Private Family Interment at Hillside Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Croix Valley Food Shelf and University of Minnesota Men?s Gymnastic Scholarship Fund.
