William Powell

A Memorial Service for William Henry Powell, age 86, of Stillwater, will be held on Friday, September 9, 2005 at 1:00 PM at First United Methodist Church, 813 W. Myrtle Street. Gathering will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2005 from 4:00-8:00 PM at the Bradshaw Celebration of Life Center, 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard. There will be a private family interment. Mr. Powell died on Tuesday, September 6, 2005 at Greeley Heath Care Center. He was born on July 24, 1919 in Honolulu, Hawaii to parents, Henry Edmund Powell and Agda Maria (Larson) Powell. Mr. Powell was a former mayor of Stillwater. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Mona. William is survived by wife, Shirely; sons, William, Jr., Richard, James, Daniel, & Robert; daughter, Lori (Richard) Gordon; step-children, David Nelson & Randi (Byron) Torgerson; numerous grandchildren & great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to New Perspective of MN-Alzheimer?s Care Center or to Lakeview Hospice.
