Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family, three days before his birthday, on January 22, 2017. Preceded in death by his twin brother, Robert. Survived by his wife, Lorraine; children, Chris (Steve), Bill, Robin (Peter) and Jill (Mark); grandchildren, Ann, Jessica, Skyler and Jaz; siblings, Ernest, Carl and Trudy; nieces, nephews, friends and colleagues. Bill built a successful family business, Schroeder Milk, alongside his siblings until his retirement in 1997. He was a WWII Air Force veteran, a voracious reader, a history buff and a well-timed storyteller. In his youth he loved to fly, scuba dive and sail on Lake Superior. In recent years, he spent a great amount of time helping others and laughing and socializing with friends and family. Service Saturday, January 28, 11:00 A.M. at BRADSHAW, 4600 Greenhaven Drive at Highway 96 (one mile west of 35E), White Bear. Interment Elmhurst Cemetery. Visitation Friday, January 27, 4-8 P.M. at BRADSHAW.
