Wilton "Bill" Edward Gervais
age 91
of Shoreview, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 29, 2018. He was born to the late Clarence Gervais and Eunice Lataille in Mapleville, R.I. on July 17, 1927. He is preceded in death by two sisters, Anne Morse and Sister Mary Noel. Bill is survived by his children Celeste and Thomas; and grandson Justin Gervais Milo; sister Marjorie Schultz and brother Neil; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Bill graduated from Providence College in Rhode Island and attended graduate school at the University of Minnesota. He is also a graduate of William Mitchell Law School and was a successful trial attorney at Robins, Davis and Lyons in St. Paul as well as his own practice for many years. Bill was an avid world-wide bicyclist, active with the International Hostel organization, cross-country skier, and tremendous consumer of all literature (and former literature teacher). He had many accomplishments in the fields of law and athletics. The family wishes to thank all of those who cared for Bill, especially those at Geneva Suites at Lighted Oak, Our Lady of Peace Hospice, and MN Masonic Home. Funeral service is Saturday December 22, 2018, visitation will be 2:00 PM BRADSHAW 4600 Greenhaven Drive, White Bear, MN 55127. Private Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.
