John Roban

John Peter Roban, 81, Preceded in death by Father, Venantius Roban and Mother, Mary Mayher, sister, Rosemary, brother Jerome, and grandson, Wyatt Joseph Borden.

Survived by loving wife Barbara (Abraham) Roban celebrated 55 years of marriage. Three daughters: Michele (Andrew) Halvorson,   Jo (Scott) Gilbertson and Laura Roban Jones. Grandchildren: Eric, Alan, Marcus and Ty Gilbertson, Siri, Annika and Kjersti Halvorson.

Many people knew him by his four years and graduation from DeLaSalle High School. He joined the Air Force in 1957 and served until 1961. Loyal employee of Sears for 33 years. Dedicated employee of True Value Hardware Store and outstanding volunteer at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church for 12 years. Avid Model Railroad Engineer at Hennepin Overland Railway Historical Society for many years.

Funeral Service on Saturday, June 26th, at 11:00 AM, luncheon to follow in the social hall.
